Best Grinding Strategy |Elite Dangerous: Odyssey

Step 1 - Highlight systems with an an anarchy government in control. Make sure to base yourself in a station/port they control so you wont lose access to the mission board due to fines/bounties.

Step 2 - Select one with 8 or more factions present in the system which has a decent number of landfall planets and odyssey settlements near the main star or station/port of choice.

Step 3/4 - Gain high rep with all the factions so that you can get access to more missions and negotiate improved mission rewards.

Step 3/4 - Stack missions against the controlling faction that is in a state of anarchy(particularly try o stack extermination missions from as many different factions as possible).

Step 5- Loot the settlements clean as you murder them.

Note 1 - When you are conducting missions against them make to have an extermination mission open so you don't lose rep for murdering them when they get in your way( for example if they get in your way during a shut down mission).

Note 2 - Don't take missions that have a high travel time.

Note 3 - It's best if the controlling faction is independent which they always seem to be if they are an anarchy faction as you could potentially lose rep with a superpower otherwise.

Note - 4 You can log out and log back in again to make the NPCs respawn but all loot will de-spawn if you do that.

Note - 4 If you go to irregular markers to salvage things then the guards or scavengers that spawn in tend to belong to the governing anarchy faction and so will contribute towards the extermination mission kill total.
