Thranduil vs. Legolas & Tauriel - In your arms

Love triangle - Not every time there is a happy end...

Story:

Somewhere in the deeps of Mirkwood is the realm of king Thranduil... He had a conversation with the captain of the guard, Tauriel, because he became aware that his son Legolas flirts with Tauriel. He is not amused about that and told her that he will not favour a relationship between the two of them...Tauriel accepts this command from her king because [...see below...], but Legolas heard this conversation from another position in the realm.

There is another chat between Thranduil and Tauriel because there is a war between elves and orks and Thranduil has to go to defend his Kingdom. He told Tauriel that she has to stay to protect the Woodland Realm and to take care of Legolas, because he is the successor of the throne if Thranduil won´t come back... Tauriel is shocked about this news and his order because she has strong feelings for her king...but can´t show it to him.

Thranduil is gone and a crowd of orks threaten the peace of Mirkwood. So Tauriel and Legolas fight against them...and she saves him of an sneaky ork who wants to attack legolas from behind, like she promised to her king. After that Legolas told her about his feelings, that he don´t want to be just a "friend" to her...and she can´t answer because of her real feelings to Thranduil.

After that there is a small time leap...Tauriel followed her king into war. To be confronted with Thranduil, he is very angry that she and Legolas followed him and flouted his command, so he banished Tauriel...but Legolas break up the situation and went away with Tauriel to protect her. Thranduil remains hardly struck.

The war proceeds and they all lost each other... Thranduil tries to find Tauriel because he has understood that she followed him because she fears for him...but then he saw that Tauriel was involved in an unlikely fight against Bolg and it seems like she will underlie... So Thranduil wanted to help her and foughts his way through the masses of orks. Legolas has seen the same situation and fears for Tauriel...so he tries to help her too.

Finally, Legolas arrived at first and after a hard fight, he can kill the beast. Thranduil has been arrived too and his son went to him...he is now aware of the feelings of Tauriel and Thranduil for each other and let his father priority to tell her...then he left heartbroken.

Thranduil goes to Tauriel...and she looks bashfully at him...but he is very soft and glad that she had survived. But he also told her that their love will never had a chance because of Legolas...and then he turns his back to go... Tauriel is left alone with her feelings...and she will never enter Mirkwood and the Kingdom of Thranduil again...
