Learn about how to treat anal fistula via Ayurvedic medicine in this video in Hindi. Anal fistula or bhagandar as called in Hindi is an abnormal opening or passage between two organs or between an organ and the skin. Formation of fistula can lead to pain and major discomfort in the anal region. This pain makes it difficult to pass motions as well as results into throbbing pain while sitting, coughing or moving around the anal region. Ayurvedic medicine approaches with a combination of therapies and treatments to treat anal fistula.

A fistula occurs when an abnormal tunnel forms in the body, often near the anal region, causing pain, especially during bowel movements. This can be triggered by pus accumulation and bursting, leading to a wound. Common causes include frequent travel, eating spicy or junk food, irregular sexual activity, and straining during bowel movements.

For patients who travel often, it's advised to reduce travel, maintain a regular sexual routine (especially during seasonal changes), and avoid spicy or heavily seasoned food.

Treatment options include Kshar Sutra therapy using ingredients like Mulak Kshar and Haridra. Medications such as Raktpachak and Mansapachak (2 tablets daily) may be prescribed. For persistent indigestion, a blend of powders like Pipli, Shunthi, and Haritaki can be helpful.

Dietary recommendations:
- Avoid hot, spicy, and non-vegetarian food.
- Drink 2-3 liters of water daily.
- Avoid Chana and Tur dal if it causes discomfort.
- Consume salads if tolerated.
- Before bed: drink milk with ghee, soaked Kishmish, and a Dhanya-Jeera powder mix (recipe in the video).
