Actor Bharath reportedly plays a young man in the film who is born and brought up in an orphanage and how his life changes drastically after he finds the gun. The film director, speaking to the New Indian Express, stressed that the gun is the common factor in the film that connects all four characters, who hail from different backgrounds and live in different scenarios. The director also revealed that the film's title is a reference to a real-life event that happened in 2013 in Chennai and added that he has not romanticized the city anywhere in the film
