📝 Important tip for best results for painting on toned paper is using gouache in creamy texture ( you can also acrylic) this tip not only for toned paper this tip for all type of paper that weights less than 130 gr




🚫so much water = paper shrinkage and tearing of paper




⛔️This type of paper doesn't like water,
if you can't control the water amount, you are not ready for painting on paper like that, and you have to use watercolor or gouache pads
