Intercooling my boosted LEXUS GS400! (W2A heat exchanger added)

Описание к видео Intercooling my boosted LEXUS GS400! (W2A heat exchanger added)

This is episode 2 of 3 in the series. I'll show you how to install a big heat exchanger up front so you can get that "front mount intercooler" look the turbo guys get to enjoy (FMIC). This is actually a heat exchanger, so I hesitate calling it a proper FMIC. Oh, and I found that modified 2016 TOYOTA Sienna running board L-brackets (2) work perfectly to mount the DH Racing Heat Exchanger, so be sure to check out what I did in the vid.

PARTS
See episode 1 for a comprehensive parts list. Added to the list in this episode were the following parts (where I purchased the part is in parenthesis).
(2) 2016 Toyota Sienna Running Board L-brackets
"Wire Harness & Relay kit (NS) fits CATZ HELLA PIAA BOSCH KC & all FOG LIGHTS JDM [30A]" (eBay)
1" to 3/4" barbed reducer (Home Depot) - yes, you read that correctly. You need this exact size to reduce a 3/4" line to a 1/2" line due to ID and OD tolerances. I tried a 3/4 to 1/2 reducer (not shown) and it did NOT work!
(2) Gates 28481 90-degree Molded Heater Hose(s) - (AMZ)
(9) small hose clamps (Harbor Freight)
Misc electrical connectors and terminals, fasteners, etc.
