सिर्फ़ रसोई के अनाज और देशी मिलेट्स से उन्होंने बनाया 68 करोड़ का बिज़नेस। RKBY Agricultural Development Scheme से मिली फंडिंग के बाद, उन्होंने किसानों को जोड़ा, प्रोडक्ट को विदेशों तक पहुँचाया और साबित कर दिया कि Organic Farming से भी करोड़ों कमाए जा सकते हैं। आज उनके बनाए प्रोडक्ट देश-विदेश की रसोई में सेहत और स्वाद दोनों पहुँचा रहे हैं और ये कहानी है इस बात का सबूत कि अगर सोच बड़ी हो, तो गाँव की मिट्टी भी आपको ग्लोबल मंच पर पहुँचा सकती है।

लेकिन सच यह है… इन सब उपलब्धियों के पीछे छिपा है शारीरिक और मानसिक संघर्ष — एक समाज में जहां ऑर्गेनिक को महंगी और elitist समझा जाता था। शारमिला ने दिखा दिया कि जब किसानों को प्लेटफ़ॉर्म मिले, और सुपरफूड्स को आम लोगों के बजट में लाया जाए, तो यह केवल व्यापार नहीं बल्कि स्वास्थ्य की क्रांति बन जाती है।

It was a day to remember when a young boy’s phone call changed Dr. Sharmila Oswal’s life. In his voice was a dream: “I want to work with farmers and change the health of our nation.” That voice inspired her, leading to the birth of Basillia Organics a superfood brand offering affordable, organic, and effective solutions to modern health problems.

Sharmila discovered that despite growing awareness of organic produce in the grain market, farmers still lacked subsidies and adequate support. Determined to bridge this gap, she set out to empower farmers directly.

Today, her products such as 1Organic and Gudmom are not only addressing food-related issues but also setting an example for climate-resilient and healthy farming in India.

With nothing more than kitchen grains and traditional millets, she built a 68-crore business. After receiving funding through the RKBY Agricultural Development Scheme, she connected with farmers, took her products overseas, and proved that organic farming can indeed generate crores in revenue.

Today, her products bring both health and flavor to kitchens across India and the world, serving as living proof that when the vision is big enough, even the soil of a small village can place you on a global stage.

Sharmila has shown that when farmers are given a platform and superfoods are made affordable for the masses, it becomes not just a business, but a revolution in health.
