If the stock drops below the strike I will take the stock at this price. If I collect this put money for a year I will cover the cost of the stock. I am bullish on XL and I still own some in this account. notThe hybrid model is making a lot of interest the stock with a rather high price prediction backedup with good projections that are pretty bullish. I like the stock and long term it is a great play. let's see if I can make some shot term cash with this strategy. The income aspect of selling the cash covered put is a great concept and can make a ton of cash if the stock keeps going up up up. Doing this for just a year or so can yeild 100% of the stock price in this volitile market. If I do get put the stock it will be at a lower effective price than the stike price due to the cash i collected selling the put. Then after i get put the stock i can move to a selling a covered call and collect more cash on the stock as long as the strike is higher than my cost.
