In this clip, Melle Mel briefly spoke about the molestation allegations that surfaced about Afrika Bambaataa. According to Melle Mel, many people already knew about the claims long before the accusers came forward.
Later, Melle Mel detailed the making of "The Message," and why it almost landed in the lap of the Sugar Hill Gang. He also discussed some of the lyrics in his verse and explained why "The Message" is the most important song in hip-hop history.
