Kison Roasted Goose (Mong Kok, Hong Kong) - In Search for the Best Roast Goose

Описание к видео Kison Roasted Goose (Mong Kok, Hong Kong) - In Search for the Best Roast Goose

Roast goose is one of the must-try items when visiting Hong Kong. Today we are at Kison Roasted Goose, a chain shop to try. You can find a Kison Roasted Goose shop in almost every area of Hong Kong.

We ordered a couple of items to try, including the steamed chicken on rice and the lower-quarter part of the roast goose. The steamed chicken on rice came out first; the chicken was juicy and tender. The rice was fluffy and soft. The ginger-scallion sauce was a bit salty. Then the roast goose came out next. The goose's skin was shiny and glistening. I took the first bite, and the skin was crispy. The meat was juicy, tender, and tasty. But as I ate more, I noticed the seasoning was a bit salty, and it got more salty as I ate more. I tried to balance the saltiness with the plum sauce, but that didn’t do anything.

I'm not sure if today was just a bad day or if all the shops are alike. Anyhow, I would still recommend going to try roast goose at Kison so that you can experience it and have your own opinion. Thank you everyone for watching, and happy eating!
