This song came out in 1976 and I never understood what it was about. It seems after some internet research that the song was written about a gang in Manchester England called the Quality Street Gang. The lead singer and bass player of Thin Lizzy (Phil Lynott's) mother ran a night club in Manchester. The QSG would frequent his mother's club and the song's lyrics reference things from the club. Anyway, it is a cool song.
