So, you may wonder where Ben and John got their start at commentating. Over a year ago, Ben got into making videos for YouTube and posting them to his account and then one day, he had a vision. What if the old monster trucks of the past could come to the future and be at the same show with modern trucks? That's what Retro Rampage set out to do. The nameplate on the truck takes center stage as Retro Rampage moves to its permanent home in their very first outing, both on the mics and Ben's editing attempt.

In the beginning, it was me and John racing each other with another friend, Ron, running the starting light. I would record the races, edit them, and compile the videos after John and I laid down the commentary track. Back then, I used to do it all in one week while working 50 hours and handling the rest of my family business. Needless to say, I was burnt out pretty quickly.
