After the success of Nothing's Slide Away Fest and Whirr's return to live performances, the bands decided to embark on a short North American Tour.
Montreal was the second stop of the tour. Nothing performed an incredible set featuring songs from their early beginnings like "Downward Years to Come" as well as songs from their latest LP "The Great Dismal". The crowd cheered for an encore but there wasn't enough time. Original Nothing drummer Kyle Kimball (Night Sins) was also present side-stage. Many consider Nothing and Whirr as the godfathers of modern shoegaze and it is clear to see the influence they had on younger bands in the scene.
