The Manning whānau brothers Te Awaa and Raukawa are both Hawai’ian and Māori. They speak three languages: Māori, Hawai’ian and English.

In April this year they performed on the biggest hula stage in the world, the Merrie Monarch festival.

They are the first whānau to represent Hawai’i in hula and Māori in haka.

Ohinga is our te reo Māori series, created by Mahi Tahi agency with funding from Te Māngai Pāho.
