We asked a group of troublesome tearaways to put Next school uniform to the ultimate test in the most creative way possible – because uniform that’s cosy, stretchy and doesn’t split easily is fundamental for energetic break-times and bottom-numbing classes.

From stretching out trousers to making sure jackets were waterproof, we let them loose in our custom testing lab to run a range of experiments and see if Next school uniform design makes the cut.

Round one sees experiments on the stretchiness of trousers and the versatility of shoes. Next's new range of stretchy trousers makes getting ready in the morning that little bit more manageable, while school shoes are available in half sizes and for wide or narrow feet - making squished toes and sore heels a thing of the past.

And when it came to jackets, the tearaways got creative with buckets of water and guess what - the Next products were fully waterproof.
