This one was surprisingly not on my list!
I decided to work on it after a frustrating end trying to work on an original piece. Originally, this project started all the way back in October! I kinda left it in the dust and forgot about it until last night...
Fun fact, in the game (at least in the chapter 1 file select screen) the pitch of the song is actually higher than the official release of it, meaning its actually in the key of A# Minor but for the sake of simplicity, I scored it as A minor (also because I only checked it after starting the orchestration)
I wanted to add a choir to sing the verses of the legend itself but I simply do not own a choir VST sadly.. I'm hoping the day I do that I remake that one with said choir!

[Analysis]
As for the piece itself, we start off relatively simple with very few instruments (see the Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Tubular Bells) in the key of A Minor like mentioned previously (0:03) with a short one bar modulation into F Major (see the Bb in the Clarinet, 0:18) then turning to A Melodic Minor (see F# and G# in the Oboe, could also be A Major but I can't be certain since there's no C or C#, 0:21)
After a short pause, strings take over the melodic role accompanied by a triangle (0:25), once again we move into A Harmonic Minor for one bar (G# in the Celli and Basses, 0:32) and before going into our next part, I doubled the melody in octaves across both first and second Violins with a crescendo and the beginning of our marching Snare Drum pattern.
Entering our next section of the piece, the rest of the orchestra joins with brass taking the main spotlight for the melody (0:42)
So far the piece as been revolving around the key of A Minor but for our 7th bar of that phrase we find an A#, a nice chromatic note to lead into the B from the next measure. (0:55)
Our phrase repeats one more time before going into the next part, this time the melody is also doubled by a Glockenspiel, typical in my orchestrations.
A New part of the piece arrives with a huge tutti passage on our tonic A, and the V, which in that case is E that descends diatonically. The melody stays in the strings and high brass alongside the Piccolo (1:17)
The second half of that part is more peaceful as the the other parts of the orchestra calm down (1:26), leaving only the woodwinds and glockenspiel playing the melody with the low strings for melodic support and the fading Snare Drum and the Triangle for rhythmic support but before our Snare Drum dies out, alongside the Violins play a triplet rhythm to modulate into our next and final part. (1:33)
Finally, our last part of the piece, still in the key of A Minor but now in 3/4 instead of 4/4, we're introduced to a Celesta playing the melody and a Wind Chime to increase the feelings of a whimsical tale, sometimes with woodwinds doubling the melody (1:34)
After our first phrase, we modulate one again into F Major (see the Bb in the in both the melody and bass parts), we then go back to A Minor and use it as a stepping stone to end on the V of our tonic: E Major (1:43).
And lastly, we end the piece on an E Major Chord [E-G#-B], therefore this is a plagal cadence [ i - V ] giving us an unresolved feeling, that there's much more to it than it seems (which is totally the case if you actually play the game!)
