PROJECT STEPS
1. As a human resource recruiter for EBT Engineering Company, you are developing a presentation for your manager, Marek Kowalski, to show to prospective employees.
Begin by changing the theme colors to Blue Green.
2. Switch to Slide Sorter view and work with sections as follows to reorganize the slides:
a. Add a section between slides 1 and 2.
b. Use Application Process as the name of the new section.
c. Rename the Default Section to Introduction.
d. Collapse all sections, and then change their order as follows:
Introduction
Background
Application Process
e. Expand all the sections, and then return to Normal view.
3. Change a slide master as follows to use a custom layout and design for some slides:
a. In Slide Master view, locate the Title only layout master slide.
b. Insert the company logo from the file Support_PPT365_CS4-7A_Logo.jpg.
c. Crop the logo to an oval.
d. Resize the logo to a height of 1.5".
e. Move the logo to the upper-right corner of the slide master.
f. Use Company Logo as the name of the new layout, replacing the placeholder name of Title and Content.
g. Close Slide Master view.
4. Apply the Company Logo layout to slides 8 and 9.
5. On Slide 2 ("Our Story"), respond to the comment from Marek Kowalski as follows:
a. Type Okay, I will make this change. as the reply.
b. Change 1978 to 1980, and then close the Comments pane.
6. Remaining on Slide 2, apply the Gradient Fill background.
7. Still on Slide 2, add the link www.offices.cengage.com to the word "Offices" that will direct the reader to view the addresses for each office location.
8. On Slide 3 ("Our Core Values"), compress the picture on the right to Web (150 ppi) to reduce the file size of the presentation.
9. Remaining on Slide 3, add the following animations:
a. Add the Fly In animation to the bulleted list on the left.
b. Add the Pulse animation to the picture on the right.
c. Modify the animation timing applied to the picture so that it starts With Previous.
10. On Slide 4 ("Associations and Affiliations"), add the following animations:
a. Add the same animation to the bulleted list as used on Slide 3 using the animation painter.
b. Change the sequence of the Fly In animation to As One Object.
c. Add the Zoom animation to the picture.
11. Remaining on Slide 4, modify the picture by applying the artistic effect Film Grain (3rd column, 3rd row in the Artistic Effects gallery).
12. Still on Slide 4, add the following alt text to the picture of the office building so that screen readers can identify the picture:

13. On Slide 5 ("Current Projects by Sector"), modify the Clustered Column chart to make the data easier to interpret.
a. Change the Clustered Column chart to a Pie Chart.
b. Delete the chart title Sales.
c. Add Data Labels to appear as Outside End.
d. Apply the Style 9 Chart Style.
14. On Slide 6 ("Application Process"), insert a Basic Process SmartArt as follows to illustrate how to apply for a job posting:
a. Use the content placeholder to insert the Basic Process SmartArt from the Process section of the Choose a SmartArt Graphic dialog box.
b. Add a shape to the SmartArt Graphic.
c. Enter the text in the SmartArt text as shown in Figure 1.
