Eder Jofre was a Brazilian professional boxer who was both bantamweight and featherweight world champion.

In 1992, Jofre was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, New York, and remains the only Brazilian thus honored.

He is listed #16 on "International Boxing Research Organization" all-time pound-for-pound list.In 1983, at the WBC's 20th anniversary, he was voted the greatest bantamweight of all-time. He is also rated as the WBA'a all-time "super champion."
