"This is the world's first wireless OLED TV. Specifically, this is the 97-inch M3. Screen sizes available are also 77 and 83-inch. The unique thing about this TV, it has a wireless box called the Zero Connect Box. And so now you don't have to attach the peripheral devices to the TV itself. You can place the wireless box anywhere in the room, connect your Xbox, PlayStation 5, Blu-ray player or anything to give it a really clean look capable of 4K 120 hertz, supports all of the great experiences you expect on an LG OLED TV like gaming. Nvidia G-sync Freesync VRR. A great TV with a unique solution that allows consumers to place the TV and the peripheral devices separately to give it a more premium and clean look."

4. SOUNDBITE (English) David M. Park, senior marketing manager, LG Electronics:
"So it's a proprietary technology that LG developed. I can't get too much into it, but it's very strong. The way we develop the Zero Connect box, it's always searching for the strongest and best path, in terms of transmission. And so, there's no interference, whether you're walking in front of the wireless box or a pet walks in front of it. LG has thought of that. And so you still get a very strong, stable connection no matter where you place the box with the TV."

6. SOUNDBITE (English) David M. Park, senior marketing manager, LG Electronics:
"Some of the use cases that we've been hearing, especially for this 97-inch, as you can see, it's on a floor stand. A lot of consumers don't place this TV directly behind or against the wall. Sometimes you could see it in the middle of a room. And in those types of cases, it's very difficult to hide the wires from the peripheral devices that are usually connected to the TV. So this gives it an elegant solution where you could connect all of those things separately away from the display. Another use case is if you were to mount this on top of a fireplace, as you can see, wire management, hiding the cables behind the wall and that situation is not possible. So now you're able to mount the TV on the wall, have the zero connect box away from the display, still be able to connect all your peripheral devices and use the TV like you normally would."

LEADIN:
Struggling to find a place to mount that new super-smart TV? LG Electronics might have the answer.
At the CES gadget show in Las Vegas, the South Korean electronics maker has unveiled a new wireless television that's able to stream content up to 4K 120Hz.
STORYLINE:
LG says its new 97-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED M (model M3), is the world's first consumer TV with Zero Connect technology.
It's a wireless solution capable of real-time video and audio transmission at up to 4K 120Hz.
The technology works with a so-called Zero Connect Box that streams the content wirelessly to the display. Power is via a cable and plug.
David M. Park, senior marketing manager at LG Electronics, says the for the best results, the Zero Connect Box should be within 30 feet (nine metres) of the display.
But why would anyone want a wireless 4K television?
Park says it means owners can place a 4K TV in the centre of their lounge without all the messy cables.
