These are three easy tips anyone can use and adapt, no matter where they are, to improve your garden soil health and to keep it teeming with life and microorganisms.
Be sure to do your research on ground covers. Some are super fast but are great for areas you need covered quickly to prevent soil erosion.
Others are great to plant in late summer or early fall and will die off with frost, or freezing temperatures. However their roots will help hold the soil in place to prevent wind and water erosion.
Some are great nitrogen fixers and add organic matter to your soil quickly.
