🌷🌷Amrit Udyan, formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, is a 15-acre botanical masterpiece located within the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, India. Renowned for its harmonious blend of Mughal and British landscaping styles, the garden showcases a diverse array of flora, including over 150 varieties of roses and numerous seasonal flowers🌷🌷

🌷🌷Key Features:

Central Lawn: A vast expanse ideal for leisurely strolls and relaxation.

Circular Garden: Known for its intricate floral designs and vibrant blooms.

Long Garden: Features a variety of plant species arranged in a linear fashion.

Spiritual Garden: A serene space designed for contemplation and peace.

Musical Garden: Integrates musical elements to enhance the sensory experience of visitors.

Arogya Vanam: A section dedicated to medicinal plants, emphasizing the importance of traditional healing practices.

🌷🌷Visitor Information:

Amrit Udyan is open to the public during specific periods each year. In 2025, it welcomed visitors from February 2 to March 30, operating six days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Mondays reserved for maintenance.

Entry is free, but visitors are required to book their slots in advance through the official website:

Entry and Exit: Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, near North Avenue.

Shuttle Service: Available every 30 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. from the Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35.

To enhance the visitor experience, Amrit Udyan has integrated QR codes for plant identification, allowing guests to access detailed information about various species, including their botanical names and descriptions.
