harath Academy. This video explains in detail, in Tamil, Marvell's poem 'The Garden'. The poet beautifully explains how man struggles to get a crown made of olive or oak leaves and to get garland. He also says quietness is available only at garden. It leads to many vision. He worries why lovers cut the bark of a tree to inscribe the name of his beloved. The gods fell in love with earthly women and ran after them to catch ends only at a tree. He leads a wonderful life in a garden full of ripened apples, vines and nectarine peach. In a tree his soul slips noiselessly into the branches of trees and sits like a bird and sings. Finally as the bird gets ready to fly higher, his soul also gets ready to fly to heaven.
