Our Garmin wind gauge failed after we had some wind and after some research on the cruiser's forum, Franny found something very interesting (obscure) and a very cheap, easy, and successful fix, which has not failed since!

The Garmin NEXUS to NMEA2000 Black Box won't reliably turn on unless it sees 120 Ohm across the NEXUS signal pair. In this video, I show a super easy fix :)
