Real World Interface | 606 pitch control

Описание к видео Real World Interface | 606 pitch control

The middle section of the Real World Interface has the ability to track the frequency information of an incoming signal and convert that to a control voltage. This c.v. gets sent to the internal locked oscillator while also appearing on the panel via the "pitch c.v." output. During the prototype phase, we were pleasantly surprised when we sent material from various drum machines, in this case the TR606, to the middle section and then had that control the pitch of an oscillator.
In this patch, we do just that. The output of the 606 is sent to the envelope extractor section which is then sent to the middle section of the Real World Interface. The envelope follower opens up the Amp & Tone (which gets it's input from the Foundation Oscillator) and the pitch c.v. is sent to the Foundation Oscillator c.v. input. Notice when only hi-hats/cymbals are introduced, the pitch of the sequence changes quite dramatically as opposed to when more kicks or snares are present.
