Time & Place: Canggu In June

June is usually when we see the Indian ocean really come to life, kicking up the kind of swells that light up Bali’s fame Bukit.

But it’s not always big and if the SE trade winds are a little slow off the mark there can still be some fun sessions at Canggu – albeit for a couple of hours in the morning before the wind tears up the lineup.

Here’s a compilation from 2021 filmed over eleven sessions to give you an idea of what the start of the swell season can look like in Canggu.
