2020 December 06 - M 16: Pillars of Creation

In today's image, we see a star forming region known as the Pillars of Creation. The long dusty pillars that stretch toward the top of the image are denser regions of star formation while the regions between them which were less dense have been washed away by the energy of stars that previously formed.
