Margot Robbie is set to star in a biopic about the late Anna Nicole Smith, a tumultuous life dreamed up by two of her close friends, fashion designer Pol’ Atteu and television producer Patrik Simpson. Smith's former friends, Simpson and Atteu, are considering Robbie and only her to lead the film. However, DailyMail.com has learned there is no truth to the casting. Smith died in 2007 of combined drug intoxication. The market is currently oversaturated with Anna Nicole Smith biopics, and Robbie has already starred in her fair share of biopics, including I, Tonya, Goodbye Christopher Robin, Mary, Queen Of Scots, Bombshell, and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
