# 13 ATS25X1 Simple Scans, but Watch for CB Scan

In this video, I had fun playing with the ATS25X1 receiver hooked up to a MLA30+ Loop Antenna about 10:30 am. CST. I ran a few simple scans so that you can see the "Almost Waterfall." Watch for the CB Scan, which is entertaining. Those Old Boys have a great time. This radio has lots of settings and lots of ways to scan the various channels.The addition of the "Almost Waterfall" makes the radio fun to play with since you can see the spikes for potential frequencies to listen to. I use this radio in conjunction with the Tecsun radios to quickly zero in on stations. Of course the radio really makes me want to purchase a dongle to use for. viewing real time waterfalls. The speaker on this radio is excellent with the sound coming out of the top. I find it awkward to have to hold the radio in order to see the display. The connections on the back of the radio prevent resting the radio on its back. I hope to do a better job with the camera next time as I did not think about the reflection on the glass front.
As Gilles has said, the radio is fun to play with and is a bit of a novelty.
