Shivani Kalra, now a Captain, was just a fresh undergraduate when her father showed her an article on aviation.Little did anyone know that this article would spike her interest in flying and set the course for her career. So much so that she went ahead and got herself enrolled at the Delhi Flying Club. Fast forward to 2022,the Air India pilot and her family were preparing for her brother's wedding when she received a call and was asked to join the evacuation process. Kalra and her team returned with more than 250 Indian students who had taken shelter in Romania and Hungary after fleeing Ukraine.
