► Prince William and Kate visited the RNLI Mumbles Lifeboat Station at the start of their brief tour of South Wales.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoke with lifeboat crew before being shown how they rapidly deploy their emergency lifeboats.

The royal couple were met with crowds of schoolchildren and locals as they began their tour of South Wales, which will include a visit to an ice cream parlour, TATA steel in Port Talbot and a boxing club.
