Figure 8 Loop Insane Intamin Patent | NoLimits2 Multi-Launch LSM Coaster | Patent Recreation

Intamin has received the patent for the new generation of the Figure 8 Loop! On said patents, there was a sample layout, and this is a recreation of it. The layout is fairly short, featuring only a few elements, but almost all of them pack a big punch!

The ride starts off with a slow turn onto the main swing launch track, quickly starting to accelerate towards the figure 8 loop. The ride stalls about halfway up and beings to roll back, launching backward over an intense ejector airtime hill on the swing launch. The train then shoots up the 270ft, 110-degree steep vertical spike, giving multiple seconds of amazing hangtime. Rocketing over the ejector hill one more time, the ride hits a top speed of 85mph, as it shoots up the massive 240ft tall world's first Figure 8 Loop! Giving some hangtime and a unique view of the circular tower supports well into hyper heights, it is one of the most visually stunning elements a coaster can have! The train spirals down and rockets out of the Figure 8 Loop and enters a 180ft tall Banana Roll, inverting riders two more times! The train then shoots into another world record element, the world's fastest inversion! This heartline roll is taken at 78mph, and is sure to be one of the highlights of this intense ride! The train flies over a banked airtime moment, giving riders some amazing ejector as well as strong laterals. With 2927ft of track and a total ride experience of 3770ft of track, this ride blows through most of its track at an incredible pace!

I really want it built lol... As much as I love this element & layout, I think some may be blowing this element out of proportion. The pull-up into the tower does not go past more than like 4.5g, and sustains much less (lower 3's), before giving a little bit of hangtime at -0.4g. The element will be quite safe, and still an amazing experience - but I think this element's true strong point is its off-ride presence! I also sorta messed up the supports for the tower but I was too far into the tower before realizing the much easier way to do them lolllll, oh well.

No stats were reported in the patent, so these are just my interpretations of the limited blueprints. I have full faith that Intamin could build smaller, and larger versions, of this same layout depending on a park's requests.
