One of the easier Pyrenean cols ~ but one of great beauty. Up and back from Campan: about 39 kms return. The roads were damp - and even a little wet - in places but they didn't feel at all slippery after all the rain that had fallen with recent thundershower activity. Otherwise, absolutely perfect conditions.
A very, very nice start to what we hope will be the first of a number of great rides up into the alpine while we're here in Argelès-Gazost.
