How To Fix A GBC Pokemon Game That Won't Save [Battery Change]

STEPS:
1. Take screw off back of game using pointy nose pliers.
2. Take metal receivers off old battery by softly prying up each side and breaking the spot solders.
3. Use small Flat bladed screw driver for top receiver and pliers + screwdriver for bottom receiver ass It Is hard to get too.
4. Replace with a CR 2025 Energizer Battery face down on correct positions for Positive + and Negative - (On the circuit board).
5. Fasten Battery with either tape, blue tack or solder (if you know how).
6. Make sure the tape / blue tac Is not bulging so the cover can slide back on without stressing the plastic board.
7. Screw back In test save.
8. If not saving check if the battery is the correct way and no tape or anything is over the 2 receivers.
