Popular YouTuber Rajab Butt, known for his Rajab’s Family vlogs, was assaulted by a group of lawyers inside Karachi City Court on Monday while appearing for a hearing in a blasphemy case under Section 295‑A. The attack occurred as he requested an extension of his interim bail.

Authorities and eyewitnesses reported that Butt was targeted over earlier videos in which he allegedly insulted members of the legal community, calling them “mousami dado” (seasonal frogs). During the assault, he sustained injuries to his jaw and mouth, and another content creator present was also caught in the scuffle. Court staff and police intervened to restore order.

Despite the incident, the court extended Butt’s interim bail and directed him to cooperate with investigators as proceedings continue. The episode highlights concerns over court security and professional conduct.
