Want the BEST SUV Experience? Watch 2025 HYUNDAI PALISADE Review!

This SUV has been a favorite of mine since it first hit the scene, and honestly, it’s tough to find anything major to criticize about it.

The Palisade packs a 3.8-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. With 291 horsepower under the hood, it offers solid acceleration, and if you’re craving a bit more engagement, the steering-wheel-mounted paddles let you take control. The transmission shifts effortlessly but can feel a bit busy on inclines. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but if you’re looking for extra traction, all-wheel drive is available across most trims and standard on the luxurious Calligraphy Night Edition. Plus, with a transmission cooler, trailer pre-wiring, sway control, and a towing capacity of up to 5000 pounds (when equipped with the dealer-installed hitch), this SUV is ready for your adventures.

Fuel economy is respectable for a vehicle of its size. The front-wheel-drive version achieves 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Opting for all-wheel drive slightly lowers those numbers to 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

The Palisade's interior is all about versatility and comfort. The SE trim accommodates up to eight passengers, while most other trims feature second-row captain’s chairs, reducing capacity to seven. The SEL Premium lets you choose between the two setups. Getting to the third row? A simple button slide on the second-row seats makes it a breeze. Higher trims even come with power-folding second- and third-row seats for added convenience. With all seats folded, you’ll have a massive 86 cubic feet of cargo space—perfect for a family road trip. While the cabin does a great job muting road noise, some wind noise seeps through the doors.

Tech-wise, the Palisade has you covered. A 12.3-inch touchscreen comes standard on all trims, loaded with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, navigation, SiriusXM, and Bluetooth. Up to seven USB ports and the ability to connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously mean you’ll never have to fight over who gets to charge or play DJ. Plus, with Hyundai’s Blue Link app, you can lock, unlock, and even start the Palisade remotely using Alexa or Google Assistant.

Safety is another strong suit. Along with a comprehensive suite of standard safety features, higher trims let you add nearly every advanced driver assistance system available.

Lastly, let’s talk about Hyundai’s standout warranty. It offers 10 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage for the first owner, plus complimentary scheduled maintenance—outshining rivals like Toyota.

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade starts at $38,215 and goes up to $55,515, depending on the trim and features. For what you’re getting, it’s a strong contender in the mid-size SUV market.

So, what do you think?
