This is the 1. Part of how to repair the Stiff focus ring in Micro-Nikkor Ai 55mm 1:3.5.

It's not that "hard" to fix the stiff focus in this lens, because of the "simple" design, just REMEMBER to set small mark's when the focus is at near (it will say when the lens is set at 0.241).

AND then when the helicoil's is get off the thread on the inner and outer helicoil's.

I forgot to show how the aperture connection ring, inside the tube was taken out, you have to unscrew it 8,1/4 times before it come out.
