When I Try to Play Hunter Heartless Without Barricade... | Dota Underlords Standard Match | Ranked

Don't get me wrong. You can play Hunter Heartless perfectly fine without Barricade or any other contraption. I lost many times against such build in the past. However, there are times when the presence of Barricade can be a decisive factor, just like in this match.

When choosing items, I noticed that no player picked Barricade, so I wanted to know whether I can win without one. It's rare to see a lobby with no Barricade, so I wanted to enjoy it a bit. I managed to maximize my progression throughout early, mid, to lategame and complete the typical Hunter Heartless build. But, in the lategame my build suffered too much. In the top 3 against other players, I was desperate to find the best formation to win without Barricade. My options were limited, and in the end luck wasn't on my side. So many rolls at level 9 and 10, and no 2* Warlord, Medusa, or Wraith King. As comparison, my opponent managed to close the level gap with so many strong 3*. Barricade seems to be a very integral part of Hunter Heartless build to win.
