The Computer Controlled Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration Unit (ROUC) allows the practical study of ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis processes, which are widely used in water purification and industrial filtration.
This unit operates via tangential flow filtration, preventing sediment formation and maintaining filtration efficiency.
It uses a three-piston positive displacement pump to move the liquid through tubular membranes. The unit supports detailed analysis of two key variables for reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration: the chemical composition of the fluid and the membrane characteristics.
We also include the EDIBON SCADA Software for computer control and real-time data acquisition, enabling full control over the process, including flow rates and filtration parameters.
