"DIY fabric face mask”

Aloha Everyone
This video is a simple version of how to sew a face mask. We wanted to create these “How to” videos that you can do at home and keep you busy during the COVID Quarantine.

Tools
• -Sewing Machine
• -Thread to match fabric
• -Fabric (You want to get woven, natural fabric. You want something a little sturdy because these need to be washed and sterilized multiple times)
o Cotton
o Poly Cotton blend
o Bamboo
• 1/4” Elastic
• Ruler
• Pencil or Pen

Measurements
• Adult 9”X6”
• Children 7 ½”X 5”
• Elastic 7”X 2pcs (You can adjust measurement to fit you), Children 5”X 2pc

Notches
• Pause Video at 3:00min and get diagram

Hospitals are in need of face mask due to the shortage of the filtered ones. This is a emergency/secondary option for them. (Again this is not equivalent to the N95 filtered mask but it is a option for them rather than not wearing or having one.

Disclaimer
I just want to stress that this is not equivalent to the N95 mask. These don’t have the carbon filters but it can still be used as a blocker. (Something is better than nothing)

These mask are great to people who touch there nose, mouth and even bite there nose.
