$28,000 Ocean View House in Japan! Part 1/3 Series

When we were in Japan we went and looked at cheap houses in Japan. This was a 50 year old Japanese house overlooking a harbour with a beautiful ocean view on the Izu peninsula that was on the market for $28,000. Pros:
Ocean View
Cheap
Quiet Neighborhood
View of the harbor

Cons:
Foundations are crooked
The roof leaked causing mold in the building
30 seconds or more walk to your car
Have to park on someone else's property for $100 a month (This could be take away at anytime and there is no guarantee of parking in the future)
In a dying village with absolutely nothing going on for miles around
