Bosch KE-JETRONIC - Changing the pressure plate potentiometer - Mercedes R107, W126, W201, W124

The jam disc potentiometer is responsible, among other things, for smooth engine idling with the KE-Jetronic from Bosch; in addition, a defective jam disc potentiometer can lead to acceleration misfires.
The change of the potentiometer applies to all vehicles with KE-Jetronic. Shown here on a Mercedes Benz 560SL with M117 engine.
