I posted this in the hopes of demonstrating that the MPD26 LCD can be repaired if you have a spare LCD from another MPD26 or MPD24 lying around. Otherwise, you can pay $79 for one at mpstuff.com. Still cheaper than a brand new one but taking your chances with a "for parts" MPD24 might be a better bet.
