CPKC On Rogers Pass

In November of 2023 I took a vacation out to Revelstoke, British Columbia to view CPKC trains operating over the Mountain and Shuswap Subdivisions. Day one of my trip was spent in the Fraser and Thompson River Canyons (those will be coming soon!) and days two through 5 were spent in and around the Selkirks. Snowpack was quite difficult to work around and it was my first time railfanning in snow since 2017, but as traveling to CP's transcon was a dream of mine since I was a child getting out and filming action along the fabled route was important and exciting for me. Enjoy 2 hours of trains working up and over the steep grade between Golden BC and Revelstoke, and then follow a potash train west to the small town of Sicamous, British Columbia. Enjoy!
