Описание к видео Long-horn Bees Eucera longicornis Prawle, Devon 2017

The males emerged first at the end of May and patrolled the nesting site for newly emerged females. Mating takes place soon after the females emerge. Females then excavate or clean out old burrows in the vertical clay cliff. The last males were seen in early July. The females survived until the end of July and could often be seen on one of their favourite forage plants the narrow-leaved everlasting pea Lathyrus sylvestris.
