Part 1:

(Impresario) The war between the Eastern and Western provinces grew fiercer every day. As a recent skirmish comes to a close, Draco, soldier for the Western Castle of Garou, thinks of his long-awaited return to his beloved Maria.

In this moonless starry night
I hope that you hear my prayers

Part 2:

(Impresario) With the Western province’s defeat, Garou castle falls under the East’s control. Though now forced into marriage with Prince Ralse of the Eastern Province; Maria does not abandon her feelings for Draco, never failing to think of him every single night…

(Maria) My beloved, are you out there despite our land’s defeat?
To think you must go to defend our lands so soon after our vows

As I stand here in the night sky, I remember your promise
I simply must wish to the brightest star and you shall hear my prayers

Must I truly wed another when my heart belongs to you?
Though I long to wait for your warm embrace, I fear I must move on…

Part 3:

(Impresario) Despite their defeat, the remaining soldiers of the Western army gather to infiltrate Garou Castle during the engagement ball! Leading the charge was Draco himself, battered but not yet broken. Having now arrived, he planned to do everything he could to stop Maria from marrying the fiendish Ralse!

(Draco) Maria!

(Maria) Draco! I’ve always believed you were alive!

(Ralse) You’re too late! Maria shall be my queen!
Your broken army cannot stand in my way!

(Draco) You may have taken from us our kingdom
But I’ll not give her up!

(Ralse) Then we duel!

Part 4:

(Draco) I have risked both life and soul to see Maria once more!
(Army Chorus) He’ll see Maria once more!

(Ralse) My love for her is greatest of all! Today before me you’ll fall!
(Party Chorus) Today before him you’ll fall!

(Draco) Then engarde!
(Army Chorus) Here the die’s been cast!

(Ralse) Come at me!
(Party Chorus) Who here now shall last?

(Draco) How deep is your love for Maria, you cur?
(Army Chorus) How dear is she really to you?

(Ralse) You dare to ask? I’d give my life for her!
(Party Chorus) To prove such love, you forfeit life?

(Draco) Then prove it now in this fight to the death!

(Ralse) I’ll be by…
(Ralse and Draco) …Maria’s side forevermore; here now I’ll end this war!
(Both Choruses) Who’ll be by Maria’s side forevermore? Who here shall end this war?

Part 5:

(Impresario) Though tired and wounded, Draco never once backed down from the fight. By a fateful stroke of luck, he managed a fatal blow upon Ralse. The battle over, the Eastern Prince drew his final breaths, his eyes a mix of both sadness and resignation.

(Ralse) As I lay here dying by your hand Draco
Swear to never leave Maria’s side

(Draco) Peace then, Ralse, for I shall swear
For as I live, she’ll know only love!

(Ralse and Party Chorus) Oh, Maria!
Oh, Maria!
My dearest love!
(Party Chorus) His dearest love!

(All) Oh, Maria!
Oh, Maria!
I love you so!
(Both Choruses) They love you so!

Part 6:

(Maria) I must thank you my beloved for my heart is whole once more
Though we’ve been apart for so long a time, our love ne’er aged a day
