It’s another Summer season for the Montauk fleet of trains as we capture the first runs of these trains on Thursday/Friday/Memorial Day. You will see lots of long trains powered by double ended DE/DM motive power. The railroad pulls out all the stops for these holiday weekends in summer as they get whatever equipment for the Hamptons/Montauk trains that they can get their hands on.  You will see lots of trains in extremes of weather, from brilliant sunny skies to heavy rain and thunder. You will hear all kinds of horns. You know how annoying those cab car horns are. Cheer up. I found a way to make them better single-handedly!!!
