This week, we are reminded of the HOPE we can have in Jesus who died for us, rose again, returned to His Father, and will come again.


Discussion Questions:

1. Jesus made an “unheard of” promise to His followers - that He would die but then he would return to them. Before this actually occurred, what might His followers have hoped that it might mean?

2. Jesus died and then was raised from the dead. Why might that fill you with hope?

3. Jesus ascended to His father’s house to prepare a place for His followers. What exactly do you think He is doing to prepare a place for us? What are you hoping that includes?

4. Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” What is the hoped-for outcome of Christian faith?

5. He will return in the future. Describe what you hope for before that occurs?
