Helen Mirren Has Brotherly Love for Costar Harrison Ford

Award-winning actress Helen Mirren has one of the longest careers in Hollywood and shows no signs of stopping. Since her professional debut at 20 years old, the British Dame has starred in everything from historical dramas such as “The Last Station,” “The Queen” and “Gosford Park” to action movies such as “F9: The Fast Saga,” “RED” and “National Treasure: Book of Secrets.” In this AARP exclusive, Mirren reflects on her reunion with Harrison Ford in the upcoming Yellowstone prequel, “1923,” three decades after their initial partnership in “The Mosquito Coast.” She talks about the importance of her role in the Emmy-winning TV series “Prime Suspect” as a fierce detective in a male-dominated police force. Mirren also notes the honor she has of being the only actor to have portrayed both Queen Elizabeths on film. In the latest adventure of her career, Mirren plays a vengeful goddess in the upcoming DC film “Shazam! Fury of the Gods.”
