Should you use vaginal weights

Описание к видео Should you use vaginal weights

Vaginal weights are extremely popular with some PTs, while other PTs don’t often recommend them. Have you ever wondered why that is? Our experiences shape us as providers, and in many situations, the best advice is really a gray area. There is almost always more than one path for getting results!! ⁣

This is why you can get a second opinion for something in healthcare and get completely different answers. Which one is right? Well, a lot of that depends on you. ⁣

Told you need surgery? Well, maybe. You may ask a different MD and they will say you don’t. They both may be right, depending on the capacity of the person.⁣

Told your only treatment is doing kegels? Well, you may see a different PF PT who says no kegels, and you get better. ⁣

Should you consider a v-bac or c-section? Again, that depends.⁣

This is what’s great and frustrating about the human body. It has so much potential, but different people are also vastly DIFFERENT for what they need for a great outcome. ⁣

Bottom line, we all need to learn more. The more you know about your own body, the better choices and OUTCOMES you’ll be able to create for yourself. ⁣

Even though my profession is the human body, I am learning about personal finances, too — and the more I know, the better my retirement will look. How cool is it to think about the health of your retirement body? :) Ok, sorry to preach. I just want you healthy and happy for a lifetime, and a little effort toward learning will help you get there! ⁣

Check out the video for a breakdown of when I would recommend using vaginal weights and when they would not be recommended. ⁣

In healthcare, taking someone's foundation and goals into consideration when making recommendations allows us to tailor the advice to that person. This is why it’s helpful to be willing to work for it and not be scared to invest your time into trying something new! Learning pays dividends, even if you feel like you’ve spent a lot of time figuring out what’s not working. 😅 You’re still figuring out something! ⁣
