How to Make a Wall and Crown Knot

Описание к видео How to Make a Wall and Crown Knot

Jonathan Hallman, a cooper at Colonial Williamsburg, teaches you how to make a "wall and crown" knot in a three-strand rope. This is a stop knot to keep the end of a rope from passing through a hole. It’s the knot Jonathan uses for rope handles on the wooden buckets he makes. You can also see them on the ropes along gangways to tie off the end of the rope where it passes through the stanchion.
